Accountant – Operations & Compliance

Role Overview

We are looking for a responsible and ownership-driven Accountant to manage accounting operations across our corporate office and factory, along with handling import-export documentation and compliance.

This role is critical to ensuring financial discipline, compliance, and operational clarity as we scale.

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Maintain books in Tally / accounting systems
• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries
• Manage cashbook and bank book (daily updates)
• Handle vendor payments and customer collections

GST, TDS & Compliance

• File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)
• Manage TDS deductions and filings
• Perform GST reconciliations
• Ensure timely compliance and documentation

Import-Export Handling

• Manage accounting for import and export transactions
• Coordinate documentation:
• Shipping bills
• Bill of Entry
• Invoices & packing lists
• Track duties, IGST, logistics costs
• Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and banks
• Maintain records for LUT, AD code, export compliance

Factory & Inventory Coordination

• Track material inward/outward with accounts
• Verify purchase invoices vs stock records
• Support inventory tracking and cost monitoring

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow, and expense summaries
• Highlight:
• Outstanding receivables
• Cost overruns
• Cash flow gaps 

Banking & Audit Support

• Perform bank reconciliations
• Handle forex transactions (imports/exports)
• Support loan documentation and audits
• Maintain proper records for CA and compliance checks

Experience Required

• 3–4 years in accounting (Manufacturing / Import-Export preferred)

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles
• Experience with import-export documentation
• Proficiency in Tally and Excel
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
