Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Teams Telephony Administrator to support and manage Microsoft Teams telephony infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Teams Voice, Direct Routing, SBC configuration, and enterprise telephony integrations. The role requires strong understanding of VoIP technologies and the ability to support secure communication environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer Microsoft Teams Telephony / Teams Voice environment.
  • Configure and maintain Direct Routing between Microsoft Teams and telephony infrastructure.
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Session Border Controllers (SBC).
  • Integrate and manage PBX systems with Microsoft Teams.
  • Configure and manage SIP Trunking for enterprise telephony solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot voice quality, call routing, and connectivity issues.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS payment security standards where applicable.
  • Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless telephony operations.
  • Provide support for telephony-related incidents, changes, and upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation and best practices for Teams telephony infrastructure.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Teams Telephony / Teams Voice
  • Hands-on experience with Session Border Controllers (SBC)
  • Expertise in Direct Routing configuration
  • Knowledge of PBX systems and SIP Trunking
  • Understanding of VoIP protocols and enterprise telephony environments
  • Experience working in PCI DSS compliant environments (preferred)

Certifications (Preferred)

  • MS-721: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer
  • MS-720: Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer
