The role involves providing expert medical guidance, overseeing healthcare operations, and leading clinical teams to ensure optimal patient care and service quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert medical guidance to patients/clients, including telephonic consultations where required.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or high-risk cases requiring advanced medical expertise.
- Interpret symptoms, diagnose medical conditions, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Prescribe and interpret laboratory tests to support diagnosis and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Ensure strict adherence to patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of diseases, epidemiology, examination methodologies, diagnostics, and common medications (including side effects and contraindications).
- Oversee day-to-day healthcare operations to ensure efficient workflows and patient satisfaction.
- Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and procedures to enhance service quality and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clinical and operational excellence.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives, audits, and accreditation processes.
- Coordinate with administrative teams to optimize resources and ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, promoting continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Act as a liaison between clinical teams and management to align medical services with organizational objectives.
- Drive initiatives to improve patient care, safety, and service quality.
- Lead change management initiatives in response to technological advancements or regulatory updates.
- Represent the organization in professional forums, collaborations, and conferences when required.
Qualifications
- MBBS/MD or equivalent degree from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid Medical Council Registration / License to practice.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1–5 years of relevant clinical and corporate experience.
- Prior experience in a process-driven, review-based medical environment preferred.
- Proven experience as a practicing physician.
