Fraud & Forensics Expert
Summary: We are seeking a Fraud & Forensics Expert to join our global Business Risk & Audit Function (BR&AF) in Bangalore. In this role, you will lead end-to-end fraud investigations, leveraging digital forensics and AI-driven data analysis to protect our global operations and drive organizational remediation.
What You Will Achieve
As a core member of our specialized Fraud & Forensics group, you will be at the forefront of discovering and resolving complex fraud cases worldwide.
- Lead Investigations: You will independently manage medium-to-high-level fraud and theft cases, from initial planning to final reporting.
- Fact-Finding & Interviews: You will conduct investigative interviews with whistleblowers, witnesses, and subjects, maintaining a fact-based and professional approach.
- Digital Forensics: You will perform e-discovery and digital forensic analysis to identify anomalies and suspicious patterns.
- Business Remediation: Beyond finding facts, you will identify process gaps and provide actionable recommendations to improve internal controls and prevent future incidents.
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should bring a blend of technical expertise and an objective, independent mindset.
- Experience: A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant investigative experience, ideally within a commercial environment, the Big 4, or law enforcement.
- Certification: A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) qualification is highly preferred. We also value policing qualifications or CPA/CIA accreditations.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in data analytics and a passion for using AI tools to analyze large datasets and spot irregularities.
- Communication: High proficiency in English is essential for conducting global interviews and drafting high-standard legal reports.
Working Conditions: Location & Time Zone
- Primary Location: This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, India.
- Office Presence: Candidates are expected to be in the office 2 days per week at our Bangalore hub.
- Working Hours: You will primarily operate during Indian Standard Time (IST), with occasional flexibility needed for global coordination.
- Global Travel: You must be willing to travel internationally (estimated at 20%–30%) to any of our 39 global locations for serious on-site investigations.
