About the Job-
Position-Highway Design Engineer
Experience-4-10 years
Educational Qualification-B.E./B. Tech.(Civil Engineering)/M.E./ M. Tech.(Civil/ Highway Engineering)
Location-Bangalore/Gurgaon
Roles & Responsibilities-
- Undertaking elements of design from road geometry, drainage, and pavement to road restraint systems and traffic signs and road markings.
- Producing design outputs such as drawings, specifications, schedules, reports and calculations etc, to achieve the optimum solution for the project.
- Working in close collaboration with your team and other design disciplines and have an appreciation of their role.
- Strong experience of Cvil 3D, AutoCAD and a sound understanding of its integration with the BIM environment.
Other Requirements-
- Should have at least 4+ years of experience in design of Highway.
- Knowledge of design codes like international standards would be desirable.
- Eurocodes/AISC/any other also added advantage.
- Experience of undertaking highway geometry design in accordance with the VGU, and desirably Manual for Streets, using Novapoint Civil 3D, Openroads software.
- Modelling expertise. Ability to create & edit existing model components effectively, including ground models (surfaces), alignments, profiles, assemblies, corridors.
