Cardiologist

About the job

We are seeking an independent, highly skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to diagnose, treat, and prevent heart and blood vessel diseases. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered cardiovascular care. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, including diagnostic procedures, treatment planning, and long-term management of heart conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valvular diseases.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Develop treatment plans including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and, when necessary, interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with other physicians, surgeons, and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, risk factors, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and contribute to continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

Medical Degree (DM) from an accredited institution.
