Implementation Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage software implementation projects in the travel technology domain. This role involves coordinating with internal delivery teams, managing project schedules, handling risks/issues, and ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing end-to-end software implementation projects, preferably within the travel industry or tour operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project management activities including regular reporting and project meetings.
• Document, track, and communicate project issues, risks, requirements, and dependencies using defined methodology and tools.
• Manage the delivery of professional services to meet business requirements by working closely with Implementation Consultants and Business Analysts.
• Collaborate with customer-side project managers to resolve issues and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure quality manuals and project-specific documentation are prepared and delivered.
• Liaise with internal technical resources and development teams to deliver custom enhancements and integrations.
• Manage commercial aspects of projects including timesheets, expenses, development estimates, forecasting, and project billing.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in the IT sector.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Management (software implementation).
• Strong experience in managing end-to-end implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience using project management tools, frameworks, and reporting methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Result-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in travel technology, tour operations, or travel industry software is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of travel-related external interfaces and integrations is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as per project requirements.

Education Qualification

• Graduate / Post Graduate in any relevant discipline.
