Online Singing Teacher

Vocal Instructor (Sargam / Indian Classical Basics – Online)

We are looking for a patient and skilled vocal instructor to teach beginners the fundamentals of Sargam (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa) through online sessions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with new learners and building a strong musical foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct live online singing lessons via Zoom or Google Meet
• Teach basic Sargam (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa), alankars, and simple exercises
• Help students understand pitch, sur (intonation), and rhythm
• Correct voice modulation, breathing, and mistakes in real-time
• Provide a simple weekly riyaaz (practice) plan
• Create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment for beginners

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Indian classical basics / Sargam
• Ability to teach absolute beginners in a simple, structured way
• Good sense of pitch and rhythm
• Comfortable conducting live online sessions
• Patience and clear communication skills
• Prior teaching experience is a plus (not mandatory if teaching clarity is strong)

• Short trial session (15–20 minutes) to evaluate teaching style and clarity
