Dean of Academic Affairs

Job Summary:

The Dean – Academics is responsible for leading and managing all academic activities of the institution. The role involves ensuring academic excellence, curriculum development, faculty management, and compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a high-quality teaching and learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for academic programs and initiatives
• Oversee curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement
• Ensure implementation of academic policies, standards, and regulations
• Monitor teaching quality, learning outcomes, and student performance
• Lead accreditation, affiliation, and regulatory compliance processes
• Supervise and mentor Heads of Departments (HODs) and faculty members
• Promote research, innovation, and academic collaborations
• Develop academic calendars and ensure timely execution
• Ensure integration of technology in teaching and learning processes
• Handle student academic concerns and ensure resolution
• Coordinate with administrative departments for smooth academic operations

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (mandatory)
• Minimum 8 Years of experience in Professor Cadre
• Minimum 10–15 years of academic experience, including leadership roles
• Experience in higher education institutions (universities/colleges)
• Strong knowledge of accreditation bodies and academic frameworks
• Proven track record in academic administration and faculty management
