Role Description
This is a remote freelance role for a Fashion Designer to contribute to Weave of Culture’s unique collections. Responsibilities include designing fashion pieces, integrating traditional and modern textiles, overseeing embroidery work, and ensuring high-quality garment fittings. The designer will collaborate with the creative team to bring innovative and culturally inspired concepts to life.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Fashion Design and a flair for creativity
- Skills in Embroidery techniques and integrating cultural details
- Knowledge of Textiles and fabric selection
- Proficient in garment Fitting and ensuring optimal craft precision
- Passion for fusing tradition with contemporary design
- Ability to work independently with a remote team
- Formal training in Fashion Design or a related field is an advantage
- Experience in cultural design or sustainable fashion is a plus
