Job Summary
The Corporate Relations Executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with companies and organizations to facilitate student placements, internships, industry collaborations, and campus recruitment activities. The role focuses on employer engagement, coordination of placement drives, and strengthening industry-academia partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Engagement
- Identify and connect with new companies for campus placements and internships.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with recruiters and HR professionals.
- Promote university programs, student talent, and placement services to corporate partners.
- Maintain an updated database of corporate contacts and recruiters.
2. Placement Coordination
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, virtual hiring, and placement events.
- Schedule interviews, pre-placement talks, and selection processes.
- Act as the liaison between companies and students during recruitment cycles.
- Ensure smooth logistics and communication for placement activities.
3. Internship & Industry Collaboration
- Facilitate internship opportunities for students across disciplines.
- Coordinate industry visits, guest lectures, and corporate workshops.
- Support MoUs and partnership agreements with industry organizations.
4. Data Management & Reporting
- Track placement statistics, student placement status, and company feedback.
- Generate placement reports and dashboards for management review.
- Maintain records of student profiles and recruiter requirements.
5. Student Support & Communication
- Guide students regarding placement processes and corporate expectations.
- Communicate placement opportunities to students effectively.
- Assist in organizing training sessions related to employability skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA preferred) in HR, Marketing, or Business Management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relationship management and networking ability.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple recruitment drives.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of placement processes and industry hiring practices.
- Problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Experience Requirements
- 2 years: Entry-level Corporate Relations Executive.
- 2–5 years: Preferred experience in placement, recruitment, corporate relations, or HR.
- Experience in education sector or university placement department is an advantage.
