Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize core components of a financial technology platform.
- Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Own technical architecture, system design, and high‑level engineering decisions.
- Ensure best‑in‑class security, performance, reliability, and code quality.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, data, and business teams.
- Drive code reviews, engineering best practices, and mentorship for junior developers.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Required Skills
- Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js.
- Solid understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).
- Frontend understanding: JavaScript, React.js, HTML, CSS (not core but beneficial).
- Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, etc.) is an advantage.
