Hiring: Accounts Officer – Apparel Manufacturing (FOB Costing & Compliance)

Ellwinkz is a growing apparel manufacturing company working across denims, knits, and upcoming categories, catering to both domestic and export markets.
We are looking for an Accounts Officer who understands that this role is not just accounting — it is about owning financial control across production, costing, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance (Mandatory)
•Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliations
•Handling TDS deductions, filings, and returns
•Ensuring all statutory compliances and deadlines are met without fail
•Coordination with CA for taxation and regulatory matters
Accounts & Financial Operations
•Maintaining complete books of accounts (sales, purchase, expenses, ledgers)
•Managing accounts payable and receivable
•Performing bank and ledger reconciliations
•Monitoring cash flow and payment cycles
Manufacturing Costing (Critical Role Requirement)
•Preparing and validating FOB cost sheets
•Strong understanding of fabric, trims, CM, washes, logistics, and margins
•Tracking actual vs planned costing per order/style
•Working closely with production, sourcing, and merchandising teams
•Monitoring vendor payments, job work costing, and production expenses
Reporting & Controls
•Preparation of monthly MIS and financial reports
•Analysing profitability per order / client
•Identifying cost leakages and efficiency gaps
•Maintaining audit-ready documentation at all times
Requirements
•3–6 years experience in apparel manufacturing accounts (mandatory)
•Strong knowledge of FOB costing (mandatory)
• Proficiency in Tally / ERP and Excel
• Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Important Note
This role requires hands-on ownership of GST filings, statutory compliance, and apparel manufacturing costing.
Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
- Expertise in tax regulations, compliance, and tax filings
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks)
- Skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and auditing
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; professional certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus
- Experience in the fashion or manufacturing sector is advantageous
