Description:
• 7+ years of IBM MQ Support experience.
• Appliance Lifecycle Management: Plan and execute firmware upgrades across the IBM MQ Appliance fleet (M-Series); manage HA/DR synchronization and perform pre-upgrade health audits.
• Secure Onboarding & Connectivity: Manage the end-to-end TLS/SSL onboarding process for SVRCONN and Message Channels (SDR/RCV/Cluster). Configure and rotate digital certificates (KDB/JKS) and implement CHLAUTH/CONNAUTH security policies.
• MQIPT Infrastructure: Perform software upgrades, configuration, and tuning of IBM MQ Internet Pass-Thru (MQIPT) to ensure secure traffic flow through firewalls and DMZs.
• Self-Healing Implementation: Identify recurring production “toil” and deliver automated remediation scripts (using Python, Ansible, or Shell) to detect and resolve hung channels or stuck queues without manual intervention.
• Production Support: Provide Level 3/4 escalation support for complex messaging issues, including SSL handshake failures and FDC log analysis
• Strong Communication Skills and capability to deal with business & Global counterparts independently.
