Senior Civil Engineer

Objective of the role:

A Senior Civil Engineer in construction oversees complex infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and budget constraints.

Only Mumbai candidates are preferred.

Location: Mira- Bhayander.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead on-site construction activities, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with blueprints and safety codes.
• Surveying new construction sites and assessing existing structures for upgrades.
• Preparing work schedules and allocating resources, as well as supervising junior engineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
• Documenting processes and presenting project progress updates to senior managers.
• Review and approve construction submittals, structural plans and design changes.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, perform quality checks, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Liaising with local authorities, municipal councils, environmental agencies and statutory authorities and government departments on the requirements and implications of the construction
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, stakeholders, and clients to align on project milestones.
• Monitor project costs and implement preventive measures to avoid delays and budget overruns.

Skills & Qualification:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Structural or Civil Engineering with sound knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical, HVAC Construction related experiences.
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering and construction specifications, standards, and codes.
• Experience in development and construction of High rise residential projects.
• A minimum of 5 + years’ experience working as a senior civil engineer on similar projects.
