About the Role:
URVA Consulting is hiring on behalf of a well-established, Indian-managed company operating in West Africa (Ghana).
We are seeking a hands-on Accounts Executive who can manage end-to-end accounting operations and support business functions in a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries and financial transactions
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls
- Support audits and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with internal teams for financial tracking and reporting
- Monitor expenses, budgeting, and cash flow management
Candidate Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Mandatory: Experience working in a factory/manufacturing environment (Factory Accountant)
- Preferred: Exposure to commodity processing industries such as Soya Beans, Sesame, Cashew, or similar agro-processing sectors
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification
- Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible
- Willingness to relocate to West Africa (Ghana) is mandatory
