Overview

• Conducting Eye Examinations: Performing thorough eye tests, including visual acuity checks, pupil response assessments, and examining the retina, eye muscles, and optic nerve.
• Diagnosing Eye Disorders: Identifying various eye conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.
• Prescribing Treatments: Recommending and prescribing medications, corrective lenses (glasses or contacts), or other therapies based on individual patient needs.
• Performing Surgical Procedures: Executing surgical interventions for various eye conditions, such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and retinal surgeries.
• Patient Education: Educating patients about their eye condition, treatment options, preventive care, and the importance of regular eye exams.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other healthcare professionals, such as optometrists, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
