Job Summary

We are a leading biotech manufacturing company, specializing in the production of high-quality biotech equipment. We are looking for a Sales/Business Development Executive who will be responsible for growing our Lab Equipment & Ultrapure Water Purification Systems (WPS) division by driving new-business acquisition, managing tender documentation, and delivering revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation & prospecting: Identify and qualify new prospects in academic, pharmaceutical, food, and research laboratories for lab equipment and ultrapure water purification systems.
  • End-to-end sales cycle management: Deliver technical presentations, run product demos, negotiate terms and close contracts to meet quarterly revenue goals.
  • Tendering & documentation: Prepare compliance sheets, techno-commercial quotations and e-procurement bids (GeM/CPPP) to secure institutional and government orders.
  • Market intelligence & forecasting: Track competitor activity, pricing and customer feedback; feed insights into pricing strategy and sales forecasts.
  • Customer relationship management: Maintain accurate CRM data, orchestrate follow-ups, and coordinate with production, installation and service teams for seamless execution.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with Production, QC, and Service teams to ensure timely delivery, FAT/SAT scheduling, and swift resolution of post-installation issues.
  • Post-sale support coordination: Ensure smooth installation, user training and upsell of service contracts, consumables and spares.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: B.Tech/B.E. (Biotechnology/Biomedical) or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry).
  • Experience: 0 – 2 Year of B2B sales in laboratory equipment, ultrapure-water systems or related capital instrumentation. (Biotech freshers can apply)
  • Skills: Technical selling, tender-portal operations, quotation preparation, strong negotiation & presentation, proficiency with ERPNext/CRM and MS Office.
  • Other Requirements: Willing to travel up to across India, valid driving licence.
