Key Responsibilities:Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure timely delivery.Coordinate with other departments (e.g., purchasing, quality control, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations. Analyze production dataWrite production reportsMonitor a plant’s workers to ensure they meet performance and safety requirementsCreate ways to make the production process more efficientDetermine whether new machines are needed or whether overtime work is necessary
