Sector Head – Legal

A leading player in India’s power space is looking for an experienced legal professional atleast 16 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end litigation across Civil, Commercial, Criminal, Environmental, Mining, Labour, Property & Land matters
• Independently handle labour, land and commercial disputes, including recovery proceedings through counsel engagement
• Develop and drive litigation strategy aligned with business objectives, including dispute minimization and cost optimization initiatives
• Coordinate closely with external counsels, solicitors, and regulatory authorities for effective case resolution
• Ensure statutory compliance across environmental, mining, industrial, labour & tax laws
• Draft and vet MoUs, LoIs, contracts, pleadings, affidavits and other legal documentation
• Provide strategic legal advisory to safeguard business interests and enable smooth operations

Key Requirements:

• LLB with 16–20 years’ experience with proven experience in the Indian Power sector
• Strong expertise in regulatory and compliance frameworks
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
