Role Description
This is a full-time Interior Designer Internship role based in Bangalore. The Interior Designer Intern will assist in space planning, creating construction drawings, developing interior design concepts, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) for various projects. This role requires collaboration with architects, project managers, and clients to deliver design solutions that meet client expectations while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in developing residential and modular interior design concepts aligned with client requirements and budgets
• Engage in regular client interactions to understand functional, aesthetic, and lifestyle needs and translate them into practical design solutions
• Prepare space plans, layouts, mood boards, and 3D visualisations under senior designer guidance
• Produce high-quality renders using Enscape and/or V-Ray in line with approved design and material specifications
• Translate approved concepts into execution-ready drawings and documentation
• Stay updated with interior design trends, materials, and best practices to deliver contemporary and relevant design solutions
• Collaborate with design, technology, and operations teams to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and consistency
• Support design iterations while maintaining quality, timelines, and cost discipline
Required Qualification and Skills
• Pursuing or completed degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related discipline
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D tools such as SketchUp or 3ds Max
• Hands-on experience with Enscape and/or V-Ray for high-quality rendering
• Strong creative thinking, spatial planning skills, and material sensibility
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in technology-enabled environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
