Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Centre Head for German Academy to lead the overall operations, academic excellence, and strategic direction of our academy. This role is responsible for overseeing student admissions, managing teaching staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre while maintaining high educational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Provide strong leadership and direction for the academy centre
- Lead, manage, and develop teaching and administrative teams
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative work environment
- Set clear objectives and ensure accountability across teams
Student Applications & Admissions
- Oversee the full student application and admissions process
- Ensure efficient evaluation, selection, and enrollment of students
- Improve admissions processes and conversion rates
- Maintain a high-quality applicant experience
Academic & Faculty Oversight
- Supervise and support teachers to ensure high-quality instruction
- Monitor and evaluate teaching performance
- Ensure curriculum delivery meets academic standards
- Drive continuous improvement in teaching methods
Operations & Performance Management
- Oversee daily operations of the academy centre
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Monitor KPIs and drive performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and clients
- Represent the academy in meetings and events
Requirements
- Experience: 7–15 years in education, operations, or leadership roles
- Language: Fluent in German (minimum C1 level)
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Strong organisational and operational skills
- Experience managing student admissions and academic staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in managing academy or training centre operations
- Knowledge of educational quality assurance frameworks
