Role Summary:
We are seeking a Data Governance Lead to drive the definition and implementation of enterprise data governance, data taxonomy, and data quality frameworks. This role will work closely with the Enterprise Data Architect and business stakeholders to define data standards, KPI definitions, and governance processes, and ensure consistent adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Define enterprise data governance framework (ownership, stewardship, policies)
Develop data taxonomy including business glossary and KPI definitions
Work with business stakeholders to standardize data definitions across domains
Establish data quality rules and monitoring frameworks
Support implementation of metadata and lineage processes
Drive governance workflows and data standard adoption
Collaborate with data engineers and architects to align governance with platform implementation
Required Experience:
8–12 years in data governance, data analysis, or data management
Strong experience in defining data taxonomy, business glossary, and KPIs
Experience with data governance frameworks and stewardship models
Good understanding of data platforms and data integration concepts
Strong stakeholder communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with metadata/catalog tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Purview)
Experience in manufacturing or multi-ERP environments
Experience working with onsite-offshore delivery models
