Phamax – Power BI Analyst
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven BI Analyst to join our Data and Analytics
team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of
pharmaceutical industry dynamics and a passion for transforming complex data into strategic
business value.
As a key member of our analytics function, you’ll work closely with our client to uncover
insights, streamline processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
● Analyse large, complex datasets to generate meaningful business insights and support strategic decision-making.
● Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical initiatives.
● Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
● Design data models and structure warehousing solutions to ensure efficient and scalable data access.
● Define and track critical KPIs to evaluate business performance and operational efficiency.
● Conduct data mining and trend analysis to uncover optimization opportunities.
● Collaborate with data scientists, IT teams, and project managers to ensure the integrity and accuracy of collected data.
● Provide analytical support to optimize business processes and enhance profitability.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
● 4+ years of experience as a PowerBI/Tableau Developer, with a strong portfolio of visually compelling and insightful dashboards.
● Solid experience with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
● Strong skills in data visualization, dashboard creation, and data modeling.
● Proven analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities with a focus on business impact.
● Knowledge of data warehousing, mining techniques, and automation methodologies.
● Comfortable working with large datasets and maintaining attention to detail.
● Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry-standard datasets such as IQVIA, Veeva, Salesforce and local market data is highly desirable.
● Experience with Python for advanced data analysis is an advantage.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
