Title: Jr. Executive – Imports & Procurement
CTC: INR 2.5 to 3 Lac per annum all-inclusive less statutory deductions.
Reports To: Asst. Manager – Imports & Procurement
Job Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in preparing and issuing Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.
– Assist in import documentation, invoices and shipping paperwork as & when required.
– Follow up with vendors for order confirmations, delivery schedules and shipment status.
– Follow up with freight forwarders and shipping lines for vessel schedules and shipment updates.
– Assist in customs clearance procedures by coordinating with CHA (Custom House Agent).
– Ensure all required documents are submitted for timely clearance.
– Assist in preparing Bill of Entry documentation and other customs requirements
– Prepare E-way Bill for Import Shipments
– Coordinate with the logistics and warehouse team regarding shipment arrivals and stock availability.
– Track pending orders and delivery timelines to avoid supply delays.
– Support the procurement manager in supplier evaluation and negotiations.
– Maintain proper filing of contracts, quotations and import purchase documentation.
– Maintain shipment trackers and MIS reports.
– Handle Local Procurement Orders when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in any specification.
– 2+ years of experience in basic knowledge of import procedures & international logistics
– Understanding of import documentation
– Good communication and coordination skills
– Proficiency in MS Word / Excel and Tally systems
– Ability to work with vendors and internal teams
– Strong organizational and follow-up skills
