Description:
We are seeking a skilled SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Techno-Functional Consultant with a strong focus on the Material Master (MDG-Material Master preferred). This role requires a professional with a blend of functional expertise and technical capabilities, including hands-on ABAP experience. As part of our team, you will be involved in the implementation and customization of SAP MDG solutions, ensuring smooth deployment and integration across various systems.
The ideal candidate will be proactive in troubleshooting, resolving issues, and collaborating with project teams spread across multiple locations. You’ll also be responsible for providing support to end-users and maintaining detailed documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure customized SAP MDG solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Write scripts and programs (ABAP) to enhance user interfaces and add customized functionalities.
- Deploy SAP solutions and ensure seamless system integration with existing SAP environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing system performance and functionality.
- Provide system support to end-users, including training and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation (e.g., SDLC documents, SOPs, IQ Protocols) to track progress, enhancements, and ticket resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in the implementation of SAP MDG solutions.
- Collaborate with the project team and attend review meetings, cutover migration sessions, hyper-care support, and design/implementation discussions.
- Liaise with stakeholders and maintain effective communication with both technical and functional teams.
- Update SDLC documents as required for ticket resolutions or enhancements.
Must Have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with SAP MDG, with hands-on experience in MDG-Material Master.
- Strong technical skills with ABAP programming for developing custom solutions.
- Experience with SAP MDG solution development and configuration, including the ability to manage the full implementation lifecycle.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and interact with stakeholders across different locations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience with troubleshooting, system performance optimization, and providing ongoing support.
- Proficiency in documentation (SDLC documents, SOPs, etc.) and reporting.
Nice To Have:
- Exposure to other areas of SAP MDG (e.g., Supplier Master, Customer Master, etc.).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori or SAP S/4HANA technologies.
- Experience with migration activities, including cutover and hyper-care support.
- Understanding of Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Previous involvement in end-user training and support.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the context of SAP systems.
