Role Overview:

We are seeking a professional and experienced Quality Manager to join our team for container Glass plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overall Quality assurance and control, Customer Technical Services, various quality system audits, Integrated Management Systems and initiating techniques to improve overall Quality of product meeting Customer Satisfaction. Being part of Global organisation, Quality Manager will get exposure to our Global plants, systems and processes. This role is pivotal ensuring CANPACK continues to deliver world-class packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Quality Control:

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards to deliver high quality product meeting Customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining quality standards for incoming materials ensuring compliance to quality standards, norms & practices

Quality and Integrated Management Systems:

  • Developing and executing framework of quality standards, procedures & systems. Making the Control Plans, FMEA, and Process Flow Diagrams for newly developed product

Responsible for all internal, external, customer audits, MRM for QMS & FSMS standards and collaborate with regulatory bodies and certification agencies.

Customer complaint handling process:

  • Includes entire gamut of handling customer complaints, resolving the complaints, initiating CAPA etc
  • Regular visits to Customers for maintaining strong relationships with customers

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or Science Post Graduate.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the manufacturing sector at senior level with proven track record.
  • Knowledge of glass container manufacturing processes and quality controls. However, for professionals with proven track record, knowledge of Glass industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IMS standards, FSSC- 22000, BRCGS, HACCP). Certified Lead Auditor for IMS, BRCGS, and FSSC standards.
  • Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including SPC, CAPA, and RCA. Good exposure on WCM, TPM, Kaizen, 5S and other lean management techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams.
