Key Responsibilities :

  • As a component owner primary responsibility is to design and develop on-board power electronics for the vehicle (PDU, Charger and Motor Controller)
  • Analyze design as per system requirements and components specifications.
  • Perform calculations (electrical ratings, mechanical durability and life) and select components (passives, discretes and actives).
  • Perform circuit simulations and analysis in SPICE software for POC and ideation.
  • Expertise in schematic capture and documentation of design including DFMEA and Internal test reports.
  • Carry out board bring up, testing, troubleshooting and initial software flashing.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure timely development of the product

Ideal Candidate :

  • B.Tech in EEE/ECE
  • 2 to 9 years relevant industry experience designing automotive electronics. Experience in the EV industry is preferred.
  • Strong Electrical Engineering fundamentals (analog/digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.)
  • Must have hands-on experience in prototyping, bring-up, debug and validation
  • Comfortable in a lab environment using oscilloscopes, power supplies, current probes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, etc.
  • Expertise in Altium Designer software is a plus
  • Experience working with mechanical design and software development teams
