Role Overview:
We seek a Hardware/Embedded Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will work on hardware development, PCB design, and collaborate with manufacturers to bring our innovative products to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop PCB layouts for new products and prototype iterations
- Work with external manufacturers for PCB fabrication and assembly
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues in existing products
- Create and maintain hardware documentation and BOMs
- Collaborate with firmware team for hardware-software integration
- Coordinate with stakeholders for component sourcing and manufacturing
- Participate in design reviews and quality assurance processes
Requirements:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/ECE/EEE from a top engineering college
- 0-4 years of experience in hardware product development
- Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer/KiCad/Eagle)
- Experience with microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, etc.)
- Understanding of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, NFC)
- Hands-on experience with IoT/robotics projects
- Basic knowledge of embedded C programming
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hardware manufacturing company
- Knowledge of RF circuit design and antenna matching
- Experience with component selection and sourcing
- Understanding of EMI/EMC considerations
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements, including FCC, CE
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
