Job Summary
The Team Lead Sales is responsible for managing a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets. This role involves guiding, motivating, and monitoring team performance while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven sales background, and the ability to foster a high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, review performance, and provide updates.
- Monitor individual team member performance and provide constructive feedback or coaching.
- Sales Strategy Execution
- Implement sales strategies and campaigns to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Ensure the team effectively communicates the value of products/services to customers.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track sales metrics such as conversion rates, lead generation, and revenue growth.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Support the team in handling high-value clients or complex sales negotiations.
- Resolve escalated customer complaints to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
- Training & Development
- Conduct onboarding and training for new team members.
- Identify skill gaps and organize additional training or workshops as needed.
- Create a collaborative and growth-focused team culture.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in sales, with at least 12 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
